what on earth are soggy buddies?

Long story short?
An inside joke that went way too far!

I was commenting to an artist friend how fun it was to be able to draw up anything I could imagine,
even a cherry in suspenders wetting itself.

I was challenged to actually draw it, and the result had us both cracking up.

He made an offhand comment that I should give up Real. Weird. Art. to focus on this new series,
and unbeknownst to him, I spent the next several days drawing up various other objects.

The next time we met, I had completely changed my booth over to the new “series”,
and we spent the rest of the day laughing at all the confused looks from strangers.

Thus, Soggy Buddies was born!
(and in fairness, I do believe they look inexplicably adorable in a bathroom.)
